I am here in sunny Ocean Isle Beach, NC while Scott and Brian (two southern boys) are in NYC for the boat show. I know that they do not like the cold, they just don’t know how to dress for the cold. The wind though the streets of New York can be brutal even for an experienced Yankee but for Brain and Scott it is almost lethal. Well at least they get a reprieve as warmer weather is coming for the weekend. Opening day and the boys tell me that although traffic seemed to be down they were glad to see friends from previous years and take more orders than last year. It seems to auger well for the rest of the show. Here at the store we are struggling through without two of our sales force, but Ash, Char, and Nick have stepped up along with help from Noelle, and Jamie; and of course they haven’t pulled out the “big gun” me but i will be taking phone calls next week and back on the sales floor. I have to say I am really looking forward to it and hope I get to hear from some of my old friends and also make new ones. Well I will be back on Wednesday to write to you again.
