Well I am back at work this morning and our guys in Miami are wrapping up the last day of the boat show. If you have a quote and want to place your order now is the time to do it with the guys. After the show they are headed back to Ocean Isle Beach and things here should be somewhat back to normal by Friday I hope. It appears that attendance in Miami is flat compared to last year but the show promoters appear to be happy with the new venue. Some great new products were unveiled in Miami from transducers to radars and in radar “doppler” which means that target motion can be detected on every radar sweep. The moving targets towards you are shown in red making them easy to be seen. Both Furuno and Garmin announced new Doppler Radars Furuno in a radome and Garmin in two open arrays. We will have more information on both manufacturers very soon and prices will be available on our website.
