What a Weekend,
Great to be an American. What a spectacular weekend for America with the ladies winning the World Cup in Canada, The Williams Sisters playing each other at Wimbleton, Baseball, NASCAR at Daytona with Dale Jr. winning with “The Big One” happening behind him, fireworks everywhere, truly a great time to be an American like it is every day. I hope everyone had a safe weekend and got home safely if they went home. I can tell you from experience the Myrtle Beach was jammed. I checked the Garmin Blog this morning and there wasn’t a whole lot on the Tour de France so I can only assume that the Cannondale/Garmin team has yet to shine. Another interesting tidbit about this year’s Tour is that there are only three Americans participating our of 198 riders. American Cycling cannot be pleased with this stat.
