Whey well I finally made it back to somewhat normal this morning. Where I live in Little River, SC we had 26″ of rain in 48 hours and it did not end there. We were flooded into our development at times and at others we could get out but worried about getting back. The roads to the Store were under water and if they were not they were closed to traffic. It was a real deal natural disaster today as cars are retrieved from flood waters and run off and overflowing rivers cause floods a different danger exists. We here at the store are praying for those most affected by the storm to be given everything they need to recover as quickly as possible. Whether it is luck or not I get to see first hand the emotions that people feel when they lose everything, and to be honest I kind of ran out of words of encouragement for them. Well enough of our issues with the weather: Brian and Scott are on their way to Annapolis for the Sail Show, our last boat show of the year. It starts tomorrow and runs through Monday. There will be great bargains to be had there but we at the Store will have some deals to offer to those who can’t make the show.
